Best Ice Cream Makers?

Do you have any good experiences with certain brands of makers? I want my ice cream not grainy.

If so, please give me the model number so I can look it up. And please state why your maker is the best in your opinion.

    White Mountain is_the_name in ice cream freezers. A wooden one chills better. Electric ones are not powerful enough to really get the job done. Just as the ice cream stiffens and you need to whip air into it, electric ones slow down when they need to be speeding up.

    The size of the ice and ratio of ice to salt will affect the graininess.

    I think now McDonald is the best for ice cream. It's products really attracts me.
