Photo ratings and good photostock sites?

I'm just an amateur photographer, so I was wondering what you think of my photos. Honest opinions please. If they're really bad, just tell me nicely please. :)

Also, if you think my images are good, I'm looking for stock sites that I can "sell" my photos. Getty Images is for professionals, so I'm not looking for anything like that, but maybe I can make some money on the side...

Thanks so much in advance!

Oh, and if you think my photos are good, please add me as a contact. Thanks!

I'm not being mean, just honest. I make a living selling pictures so I know what I'm talking about. I really doubt you can sell your pictures, even at the low end of the industry. You are an amateur and it's obvious in the pictures. It's really hard to sell images and I think it is extremely unlikely that you can sell what you currently have up. Practice more and in time you will improve. Good luck.

Could you be good? Sure. Are you good now? Not really. Is anything in your portfolio commercial? No. I hate to be blunt, but there it is. Don't waste your time submitting to microstock sites. Instead, try to improve your photography without an eye toward commercial sales. My 1st bit of advice is to join an active photography critique site (I like photosig.com) and spend time not only asking for critiques, but critiquing other photos.

You can learn a lot by critiquing other photos, trying to figure out how and why they did something, what would make a photo better, and how you could take these lessons into your own photography.

Lets look at your 4 photos of the fruit bowl:

July 4th is out of focus and unusable.

Fruit Bowl is way too dark and the stem from the one strawberry is obviously an important element of the photo, but why? The angle is not bad, the depth of field is well controlled to minimize distraction, but the stem is just odd.

In Honor Of... shows off that stem again, but why, again? DOF is too shallow for that angle.

Fruit Bowl for the 4th is the best of the bunch, but it is too dark and there are too many blueberries (this is the same for all the shots, but here it is the biggest issue). You also have too much table at the bottom of the frame, crowding the bowl into the top half. The wood is pretty, but the berries are supposed to be the star, give them some room on top.
