How can I kill fleas on my dog?

I gave my dog Trifexis a couple weeks ago for his fleas but it's just not helping. I heard that using Dawn dish soap and vinegar can effectively kill fleas...is that true? Also, what are good products to kill fleas in the house?...assuming that they're in here since they're on my dog.

Dawn dish washing liquid is what the vets use! It works great! Vinegar will kill fleas around the house. So will sulfur!

Trifexis is literally three poisons in one deadly tablet! Dawn dish soap and vinegar is much safer. Both of them kill fleas. In order to kill fleas in the house purchase an herb called thuja in liquid form, mix with a liter of water, and spray on every soft area of your home. In order to kill the fleas on your dog, purchase sesame seed oil, mix 50/50 with regular dog shampoo (not flea/tick), and give your dog a good bath.

There are several different bug bombs you can buy for your house . As far as the fleas go , wash the dog thoroughly with a flea and tick shampoo , dry the dog , then apply Advantage , Front line plus or

K9 Advantix . which i recommend as all 3 kill both fleas ticks and their larva , only K9 Advantix repels new fleas and attaching themselves .

You can try frontline, or advantage or whatever that is. There are good medicines, ask your vet if you aren't sure which is best for your dog. But it is going to cost a little money.
