What happens if my mobile phone is left on charge for 12 hours?

I left it on charge at a shop I work at. I locked up and forgot to take it with me. I open the store tomorrow. Not sure what to expect. It's a Samsung phone that folds open/closed.

    Nothing. It stops charging once it's full and will stay full. I leave my phone on charge a lot of times. Even longer than 12 hours sometimes.

    nothing but if you keep doing over a year the battery will lose 15% capacity
