How long to spend in Granada?

I am planning a 10 day trip to Spain for the end of the summer. I am planning on landing in Madrid, going to a town or two (including Granada) in southern Spain, and then going to Portugal. How many days should I put aside for Granada, keeping in mind my time is limited. Or, should it just be a day trip? Also, what are other must-sees other than the Alhambra?

    I'd say two days in Granada.

    I don't think ten days is enough for your plans.

    Must-sees include the Plaza de San Nicolás, the Albaicín, the Moorish marketplace, and the Cathedral.
