Can I turn this cake mix into brownies?

I have a cake mix, but I really want brownies. Is there a way I can tweak the recipe to make the cake thicker and more dense?

The recipe calls for 1 1/4 cups water, 1/2 cup oil, 3 eggs, and the mix.

It is a Pillsbury Moist Supreme premium cake mix Devil's Food mix.

maybe only use 1 egg and 1/4 cup of oil and add some chocolate chip or cocoa powder if you have it

I'm not sure about this, but you may be able to find out at pillsbury.com - they have a good number of "Tips" available on similar subjects.

They also have an 800 # posted (I think it's under Consumer Services.)

This is probably your best bet for accurate information. Hope this helps!
