just about to make tea and discover the meat balls for the spaghetti went out of date on the 25th of this month.they smell ok and have been sealed in packaging and kept in the fridge.we are having a debate on whether to cook them or not.thankyou :)

they are fine to eat like someone else said if they smell ok and look ok they are fine to eat..
and mainly the dates are for manufactures so they can keep good stock rotations and well you can't have something on shelf forever so they put dates on to make things easier for them

Yes I would eat.
You are right to smell, if it smells ok then they are good to be cooked and enjoyed.
