Which pointe shoes would suit my type of feet?
am an advanced dancer. been dancing en pointe for about 6-7 years. I always had my pointe shoes custom made by my uncle who was a pointe shoe maker for 20 years, he would get the materials and make them for me free of charge so i never had to buy from any shop. Now my uncle's hands are weak cos hes like 80 years old, he can't make pointe shoes for me. So, i have to get from dance shops and i haven't tried any yet, but i was wondering what sort and what brand would suit me.
I have relatively high arches.
I have wide feet
I have slightly tapered toes (meaning toes almost all the same length)
I also have short toes.
I prefer a v shape vamp.
So what would fit me?

Hello, it sounds like we have similar feet. The Freed "Studio Professional" and Bloch's "Heritage Pointe" are two styles that I would try first to see if you like them. Unfortunately, the Capezio "Plie II" isn't so easy to find but those were my absolute favorite because of the wide toe box and 3/4 shank.

Any half decent dance store that sells pointe shoes will have fitters there who can help you try on and pick out your shoes. Don't just guess and check, call local stores and ask to schedule a pointe shoe fitting.
