In what part of the world do ferns grow?

I have to do a report on walking ferns and I need to know where they are planted! I tryed other seach engines but they just say "in moast soil" but I need to know where in the WORLD it is!! Please help me and FAST!!!

    I've found the best place to look for natural habitats to be the USDA. You can easily do a plant search and find out all important details. They even have geographical maps of where plants occur naturally.

    Ferns are a very old group of plants. As such, you can find ferns pretty much everywhere (except Antarctica).
