what is my Rottweiler mutt mixed with?

I just adopted a 3 year old Rottie mix, but HE is only 65-70 lbs., and has little patches of white on the front of his neck, and his upper chest.

So not only should the white not be there in a pure-bred Rottie, but he's also at least 30 lbs. under the average weight for a male Rottweiler.

his tail is docked, and his coloring, ear shape, and head shape are otherwise pretty characteristic of pure-bred Rottweilers.

Update:

(I am referring to Bo Jangles, although we renamed him)

Looks like pure Rotti to me.

Purebred does not always equal well bred (or bred to standard)

The white patch on the chest is not a true "marking" but rather a result of the pigmentation pathway in utero.

    (More info here: http://homepage.usask.ca/~schmutz/pathway.html)

    Add:

I know of many BYBd dogs that have received "at home" dock jobs. Specifically I know of one Rotti GSD (I think, funny looking dog) that the whole litter was docked.

If you are talking about *Mr. BoJangles*, I would say he's mixed with a Doberman.

Add: I just wanted to make one more comment about this dog. Since it is originally from a BYB, I don't think a BYB would even spend the money to have a puppy docked unless it was mixed with two breeds that ARE normally docked.

Could be purebred, just because he's in a shelter doesn't mean he's a mix.

If he's not purebred it's probably doberman and POSSIBLY some lab. No never mind I dont think I see any Lab in there.. but I dont know what his whole body looks like.

Oh my god, I must say, YARD BIRD Is super lovely! His legs are SOOOOOOO long!! =)

    If you mean Mr. BoJangles

    I would say it's a mix with a Red & Tan coonhound:http://www.google.com/imgres?q=red+and+tan+coonhou...

Here is a Rottweiler and coonhound mix: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=rottweiler+mix+with...

    If it's the "Yard bird"

I would say a mix with a Labrador and a Greyhound

Here is a Lab and Grayhound mix: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=lab+and+greyhound+m...
