Dying my hair: How to do 2 colors without mixing and making it look like ****?

So... I dye my hair frequently. Not all of it, just a big strip. It is bleached, so the dye stays in pretty well. How can I dye two colors, without making it look crappy? (I want to do christmas colors.)

Try using the temporary dyes that wash right out with the next shampoo. What I would do is use different colors on alternate days, rather than trying to do both on one day. If you're using red and green, for example, if you mix them too close together you may end up with brown.

Use foil and wrap your hair in the different colors

Do them on different days so that they don't mix together. (:
