12V train LEGO - What should I use to clean metal tracks and motor?

Any methods for doing this would also be useful. Thanks.

Clean rag and maybe some isopropyl alcohol. Have a big area and fan to dry out faster. If you have some rust spots use a small metal brush or a Dremel tool.

You can take Simple Green and a old tooth brush are scrub or that should work well.
