Why do people harass Israel, but not the other countries?

As a result of the 1st World War, The Ottoman Empire, had to Give up Ottoman Syria.

Ottoman Syria was split in 3.

1.) Turkey

2.) The French Mandate for Syria

3.) The British Mandate for Palestine.

Today there are now 7 countries where Ottoman Syria use to be.

1.) Israel

2.) Palestinian Territories

3.) Syria

4.) Lebanon

5.) Jordan

6.) Turkey

7.) Iraq

Today there are now 3 countries where the French Mandate for Syria use to be.

1.) Syria

2.) Lebanon

3.) Turkey

Today there are now 5 countries where the British Mandate for Palestine use to be.

1.) Israel

2.) Jordan

3.) Palestinian territories

4.) Saudi Arabia

5.) Iraq

according to the Preamble of the British mandate for Palestine;

"Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have also agreed that the Mandatory should be responsible for putting into effect the declaration originally made on November 2nd, 1917, by the Government of His Britannic Majesty, and adopted by the said Powers, in favour of the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, it being clearly understood that nothing should be done which might prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country"

in other words Palestine was formed for the purpose of creating a Jewish state.

So why do people harass Israel, and not the other countries formed from the British Mandate for Palestine? Or even the Other Countries where Ottoman Syria use to be?

Update:

Romney '12 @ as I already pointed out, part of the Peace Negotiations of world war 1 was creating the British Mandate for Palestine, and the purpose of Creating Palestine was to create a Jewish state.

So even though the state of Israel wasn't established until after World war 2, it was part of the peace agreements of world war 1, to create Israel in the 1st place.

    It is true that Israel, as the only Jewish state in the world, is the most hated country in the world, but America is also vilified quite a lot in the "international community" by many, if not most, of the same people. I happen to be a proud member of both of the world's most despised peoples - Americans and Jews. What you describe in terms of harassing Israel and not other countries that you mention is merely part of this general syndrome.

    To an extent, there is still anti-semitism in the world. I don't agree with everything Israel does, but looking at all the countries in the region, Israel is by far the most progressive. Land is extremely important though in Arab culture. I support Israel, but I also sympathize with the Palestinian people, the ones who aren't resorting to violence.

    But there are many types of these conflicts in the world that don't garner as much media attention. What about when the US gave the green light for Turkey to invade and occupy Christian Cyprus? Every nation on Earth recognizes this as illegal. But if I recall correctly, the USA wanted unity on the island via a number of concessions from the Greek Cypriots (the rightful residents of the island according to almost every country in the UN, including the Arab States)... but then again, president George Bush I believe refused to recognize the Armenian genocide, when the Ottoman Empire killed numerous Christians. The US sure goes to great lengths to accommodate Turkey... too bad Erdogan has turned his back on the US and is now allying himself with Iran. Who would have saw that coming?? (sarcasm)

    I'm just going to give you a racist but honest answer. It's because Palestinians are whiners. And the ones who aren't whiners are terrorists.

    Also, it's political correctness. Jews in America can take a joke or some criticism, but when the military or federal government bashes Islam the Muslims hold massive in-your-face protests about discrimination.

    Only a Palestinian will launch a rocket that kills 36 people, then complain when Israeli soldiers burn down their house.

    ok, right this is user-friendly. for the reason that Camp David, Egypt make peace with Israel, Egypt grew to alter into puppet of Israel, Mubarak does each and every little thing Israel needs, in the different case Israel will make conflict on Egypt, and Mubarak is fowl. Mubarak is the dummy of Israel, no longer Egyptian human beings. all of us love Palestine, in simple terms what's going to we do?

    The Arab countries despise the Israelis because they've been fighting over Palestine forever.

    Palestine was given to the Jews by the British after WW2 and Palestine claims its still theirs.

    Israel shoots itself in the foot on a lot of occasions in this regard with some of the policies it pursues and how arrogant it acts, but a lot of people wouldn't like Israel anyway. I have to believe some of it is religiously based due to Israel's close connection to Jews. That definitely factors into why some of its neighbors don't like it. Let's face it these people have been fighting the better part of a couple of millenia.

    Israel is about the only country in the world you could announce to the world you wanted to wipe of the face of the earth and while people wouldn't like it, nobody would do a thing about it.

    The reason the touchy-feely left doesn't bash the other countries is because their lib masters haven't told them it is politically correct to do so yet.

    Because it has never been honest about wanting Peace. That simple.

    I am speaking of the Israeli Government not the People.

    It is time that the Palestinians and Israeli People hold hands and kick their Governments out of Office.

    These People deserve to have some peaceful years in their lives.

    Both are decent, good People. Their Governments are criminal Dictators.
