    Wealthy People Giving Away Money

Only if they want to follow Jesus' teaching. It always tickles me that people like Hovind, and Haggard have $million houses, multiple tax avoidance schemes, big expensive limos while sponging off the poor.

Then you look at people like Gates and Buffet who are atheists and are giving all their money away.

    Wonderful isn't it.

You cannot possibly be a true follow of christ then. Fox christians who just want to pick and choose which of christ's teachings to follow

People have the choice to do whatever they want with their money, it's called freedom.

But most rich people do donate a lot of money to charity. And you should know that Pat Robinson, the world's richest evangelical christian, has donated nothing his entire career and utilizes slave labor in a diamond mine in Africa.

No, but I admire your logic, it's just flawed.

That person has rightfully earned their money (I'm assuming for this example) I do think that wealth should be shared to some extent by governments though.

At the end of the day, you shouldn't guilt trip people because of their success in life, you should congratulate

    It depends with me:

    - If they are greedy pricks who want to let the country become more polarised for their own gain then yes they should give away a lot

    - If they don't donate to charity

    - Gained the money illegally

    - Are simply pricks!

Other than that someone should be entitled to what they worked for but shouldn't have to abuse it for their own gain and become corrupt, selfish and greedy as to want poor to get poorer and them to get richer!

No, rich people should renounce their attachment to material wealth. And about what makes a man rich Jesus said something simple: "If a man has two shirts and sees a man without any let him give one to that man". So if you have two houses maybe you should give one to someone without a house.

Also depends what you understand by donating to charity. Most rich people do that for publicity. Also most of these charity works have nothing to do with what God requested from us.

no! i work hard, and i wouldn't give my money to people that wont help themselves! i donate to charity and i happy to help out to those less fortunate but no, the wealthy don't need to give away their possessions because someone else doesn't have money!

People need to be educated and taught how to look after money properly and how to get work! simply giving people things because they don't have it doesn't solve problems in society! instead they should be given free education and work experience!

If you have a guy who's a millionaire and he shares it with 1 million people, now they're each one dollar richer. It's pointless.

In the UK we all give our money away, it is called taxation on just about everything except air.
