Sweet or Savoury? What do you prefer?

I really don't get this chocolate thing that people seem to have. I enjoy the odd piece of dark chocolate, the occasional snickers and the rocky road tree I make at Christmas but I don't get this daily 'need' that people talk about. I'd rather cashews or a triple cream brie. What about you?

Update:

I suppose one of my favourite snacks is a combination - King Island blue brie with quince, fig or pear paste on a McVities digestive biscuit - with a glass of Grant Burge Chardonnay of course

OMG I'm just adoring the Roast vegetable & fetta pie!!!! It's a wonderful thing, just try this!

    I like savoury recipes!

    Ingredients (serves 4)

1 x 400g sheet shortcrust or wholemeal pastry, defrosted

    3 cups cooked, roasted vegetables

    3 roma tomatoes, quartered

    2 garlic cloves, crushed

    60ml (1/4 cup) olive oil

    2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary

    125g fetta, cubed

    2 tbs grated parmesan

    Green salad, to serve

    Method

Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 23cm pie plate.

Lay the pastry into the plate, line with baking paper and rice and blind-bake for 10 minutes. Remove the paper and rice and bake for a further five minutes.

Toss all vegetables with the garlic, oil and rosemary, then fill the pastry case. Dot with fetta and sprinkle with parmesan. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve with a green salad.

I like both, but am not a chocolate addict. My favorite sweet thing is anything that is a combination of apple, fudge sauce and cinnamon. Served hot with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Pecan Pie or sweet potato pie are also yummy.

I also love fresh fruit. Figs straight from the tree, or peaches are best.
