I know trust me the draw is done by that squid that picked the World Cup winners.

having said that we should smash them again without Stuart, Geddes, Burgess out and that sad little clown dwarf freak Sandow defecting for $$$$ and the fact that they had no heart in the first place....should be a breeze!

but then its never easy so I pray we smash them SO BADLY I want it at 50-0 this time. No excuses Tigers!

The draw isn't the best this year in my opinion. I think it's happening with all teams, but I know the Eels are playing the Cowboys again next week (round 10) after playing them in round four and the Eels need to play the Dragons again in round 13 after only playing them in round eight.

I heard that the NRL used some Canadian computer generator that they use for ice hockey to create the draw this year. I don't really know why we needed that software when we've managed every other season. Even if the NRL did use the Canadian's template there should be a team of onlookers to proof read and ensure the draw is suitable to our game before approving it.

A lot argue that no team should play each other twice within the first 15 weeks. That might work best, or it could become too predictable and conventional. Something in between might work best.

The Dragons are playing the Dogs this weekend, also a repeat of round 5.

But there is nothing wrong with this. When a pair of teams play each other twice in a season, the timing of the two matches is entirely random.

And random means the timing of one match does NOT depend in any way on the timing of the other match, other than they can't both occur in the same round. So they could occur at either end of the season, or they could occur a few weeks apart. Makes no difference anyway.

You need to learn some statistics.

Week 7 and Week 2 Souths played the Bulldogs. Whoever schedules these things isn't the best at his job.

It happens. A couple of seasons ago, the same teams played each other two weeks in a row.
