I really need help with my bulimia?!?
Ok so im 14 yr old girl who has been suffering from bulimia for the past two years. I used to be anorexic....but then it spiralled into bulimia. I feel so fat, so stupid, so weak that I have to go through with this. I have episodes when i just start and stop for some time...and then start again :/ Once i start i cannot concentrate on anything...not even my studies <which am quite obligated to that usually>. Whenever i fall into the trap again i just feel like killing myself...worthless, no reason to live. I've gone to a physciatrist, but its by the book, so i only get an appointment once every three months or so. And plus...its hardly any help. <<most times i just lie to them>>. My family do know about it but they think im over it now...unfortunately im not, it comes back again every now and again or when im really stressed over things. I continuesly eat loads and loads of food all day...and make myself purge it all out at certain times. My teeth hurt, my tummy muscles pain...i feel weak...blindness...all of that. I know i might not get much help from here but im giving it my chances. I would really like to speak or contact someone who has gone or is going through the same things as i am...I really want to overcome it....
i want to live x

My dear,
One good aspect about your problem is that you have acknowledged that you have an issue and you want to work on it, which makes all the difference. It is good that you are seeing a psychiatrist; but you didnt mention what methods of treatment you are undergoing. Well for bulimia, medical treatment, general counselling, behavioral modification is the first-line. There are other forms of treatment as well:
The conscious and the subconscious mind(more powerful & more difficult to discipline) need to be
harnessed. In your case, your mind has overpowered your body and your life, your mind needs to be brought in control.
Our subconscious mind is the storehouse of all positive and negative energies of the past,
and it keeps projecting the same picture over and over again in your life till you wash the negative
ones away.
--Many times it is easier said than done, but the subconscious mind's negative impressions can
be erased with different therapies:
Try these simultaneously:
--Sudharshan kriya yoga is a very powerful technique, uses simple postures and deals with one's
breathing, helps to get rid of past negative impressions on the mind slowly.Has helped many patients with relationship issues, lifestyles, career issues, mental illnesses, physical problems etc.
It is so powerful that it has been used in soldiers, war victims, prisoners, even terrorists to bring
them back from their destructive minds to norm. Lot of research has been done by scientists and doctors and has been recommended by them. It is ever-growing world-wide.
Also try the meditation and eternity process course( the negative impressions of the subconscious mind are slowly removed after the body and conscious mind relaxed).

--Regression therapy( similar to eternity process), and hypnotherapy also helps.
Dr. Brian weiss is a regression therapist, find someone similar.
Read the book: Psycho-cybernetics:
by Dr. Maxwell Maltz (it is about awakening the success mechanism in you & leaving behind the flaws.) Look in www.simonsays.com
A speedy recovery

Bulimia isn't just binging and purging there's a lot more to eating disorders. It's having an unhealthy relationship with food, whether that be overeating, purging what you eat, restricting, starving. Bulimics don't necessarily have to binge to purge. You may have EDNOS which is Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. I've been struggling with an ED for over 3 years now and it's not something anyone should ever get involved with. It's not glamorous or pleasant and you'll never be happy with it. You should go see a psychologist. I know some people can't because of certain reasons but I know that where I live there's a place called Headspace where 12-25 year olds can receive help. It's free because it runs through our health plan. I hope this helped sweetie. Stay strong <3

Look its never a good thing to shove your fingers down your throat. Who cares if u eat loads of garbage all you have to do is excersize and that way you could be healthy AND lose weight at the same time! Good luck!
