Fix City Council - Stop the nonsense that seems to go on in those chambers no matter who is elected - Stop the infighting, stop the greed, stop the wasting money - Electing council members from districts (i.e. people who really live in the areas that they are representing and therefore know the people and issues first hand) instead of at large (which basically turns into one huge popularity contest - ie., how else could Martha Reeves be elected to office? What experience does she bring to the political table? Electing at large members assures that all of the members will come from/live in about two neighborhoods out of the whole city) may be the answer.
