Why do people attack Muslims now because of what a very small radical group did?

Al-Qaeda does not represent the whole religion, and people act like every Muslim is a terrorist and should go die.

Lol, religion. So old fashioned.

This is it. Making a separation between the actions of insane people and the average Muslim is hard for morons to do. It is easier to blame them all then it is to blame the few. The standard defense for this behavior is "WHY DON'T THEY ALL RENOUNCE THE ACTIONS OF TERRORISTS?" blah, blah, blah. Why the hell should they have to? They didn't do anything wrong and don't have to apologize for actions that aren't their own. I don't see any Christians today apologizing for the crusades or inquisitions, why? Because it's not their fault those things happened. A lot of you probably had no idea what a Muslim was before 2001 and the rest of you who knew what it was probably went months or years without critically thinking about the lives and motives of Muslims.

Logically every Muslim can't be a terrorist. There are over a billion Muslims in the world, meaning 1 in 7 people would be a terrorist. I know the world can appear chaotic when watching the news, but trust me you wouldn't want to live on a planet where 1 in 7 people are actually terrorists.

It's just like, one black man shoots a white woman. Race war starts. An asian gets hit by a mexican driver. Race war starts. Christian leads a whole community of mass suicide. Christians are nuts. An Atheist hits a preacher. atheists are evil and working for satan. What the media does and says controls the pitiful minds of a nation. If they say Muslims are big bad and scary and always have a bomb, then we ignorant pigheaded moronic Americans will slander them as much as they can.

This can be compared to the Red Scare back in the 1920s. Ignorance and Idiots. That is America.

You know I use to defend Islam until I found out the truth about their religion. In the Middle East and in many parts of Africa the Muslim Governments persecute or oppress Christians in Islamic countries. My Church extend the olive branch to them in the hope of peace, but looking at what they have done and are still doing I can't bring myself to believe there will ever be a peace.

I came to understand that the only reason why Muslims that live in the United States have kept quiet about their true feelings with Christianity is because they are the minority. I guarantee that Muslims have no love for Christians and in fact the Quran teaches them to hate Christians and Jews.

Well, there is that, but they also see them in a negative light because all the women either wear hijabs or some other type of head/body/face cover, which (to many people) shows that they are the "weaker race", but that may not be completely true. I'm not criticizing, just analyzing.

Besides, al-Qaeda is mostly a western media invention that groups together a whole bunch of different things. The public doesn't really want to know. It wants to be enraged and entertained. And besides, geopolitics is hard. Who wants to read about that?

The "radical" muslims actually are the ones who follow their religion, but the ones who want peace do not follow their religions.

While I am aware that radical Islam is a small portion of the overall number, the silent complicity of the non-radical followers is rather disturbing.

Because it's not interesting to make news stories about well behaved people, so all the populace sees is the bad ones.

    Lol, media. So old fashioned.
