Christians, please describe what heaven will look like and what will you do when you get there?

  • No one knows the answer to that except for those who have been there.

But I imagine that heaven will be beyond our wildest expectations, and whatever we do, it'll be amazing. I always pictured heaven as being a place where we can do things we can't do on Earth, like swim underwater for as long as we want without ever having to breathe or worry about the weight of the water crushing us. A place where there's no fear, no sorrow, no hatred... just love and peace.

It is a physical square place (city) with walls around it, streets and foundations. Heaven is described in Revelation 21:15 - 22

And he [the angel] who spoke to me had a golden measuring reed (rod) to measure the city and its gates and its wall.

The city lies in a square, its length being the same as its width. And he measured the city with his reed--12,000 stadia (about 1,500 miles); its length and width and height are the same.

He measured its wall also--144 cubits (about 72 yards) by a man's measure [of a cubit from his elbow to his third fingertip], which is [the measure] of the angel.

The wall was built of jasper, while the city [itself was of] pure gold, clear and transparent like glass.

The foundation [stones] of the wall of the city were ornamented with all of the precious stones. The first foundation [stone] was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony (or white agate), the fourth emerald

The fifth onyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.

And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each separate gate being built of one solid pearl. And the main street (the broadway) of the city was of gold as pure and translucent as glass.

I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Omnipotent [Himself] and the Lamb [Himself] are its temple.

Here's some beauts to consider Mack..

Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is within us... and more or less told us to stop looking here and there...for it...

And this gives us something to consider, inside... it would not be fair to ourselves not to give this some consideration...

So if the Kingdom of God is within, then perhaps Heaven is to...

    I just love this idea...

God said... Let there be Light...

The heavens or the sky, especially when regarded as a tangible thing is called *firmaments*, so that would be our mind...one might say...

There's so much worth to consider... then, there, here and now... as above so below, inside and outside...

    Blessings and Love... ((hugs))

    No pain, only happiness.

We will live with Jesus and His Father.

We will know our family members (if they are there).

We will have a job given by Him.

It will be Heaven on earth, literally...Heaven will come down to earth and it will be this world but with perfection...untouched by us!

Just like my timeshare in Cancun. I have a fairly sketchy notion of what I will find, but once you are there, you are pretty well stuck with it. Need to stay flexible.
