Catholic Church - Normal Mass?

What happens at mass in a catholic church? I know there's a lot of rituals but could you explain. When I walk into the church, what happens step by step? What kinds of images, music, physical motions, sounds, smells, words, and ideas are present? The way worship is conducted? What happens at what time, surroundings, just everything in the church.

Thank you so much

Update:

So is the last supper re-enacted at EVERY mass?

Update 2:

BTW, I'm doing this as a project for my religions class.

The Mass is the central act of worship of the Christian faith, and the only form of worship given to us by Jesus Christ Himself. The central part of the Mass is the re-enactment of the Last Supper, in obedience to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who commanded "DO THIS in remembrance of Me", immediately after personally celebrating the first Mass with His disciples. If you read the account of the Last Supper in the Bible, you will recognize it when it occurs within the Mass. Prior to that moment, which is called "the Consecration", there is prayer and praise, usually with music, several readings from the Bible, and a homily or sermon given by the priest. After the Consecration, the congregation goes up to receive Holy Communion. If you are not Catholic you should not do that, though you are welcome to participate fully in all other parts of the Mass. After Communion there are a few closing prayers before the end of the Mass. Maybe I'll see you there!

The Central Act of Worship in the Catholic Church:

Catholics worship God in a variety of ways, but the chief act of corporate or communal worship is the Liturgy of the Eucharist. In the Eastern churches, Catholic and Orthodox, this is known as the Divine Liturgy; in the West, it is known as the Mass, an English word derived from the Latin text of the priest's dismissal of the congregation at the end of the liturgy ("Ite, missa est."). Throughout the centuries, the liturgy of the Church has taken a variety of regional and historical forms, but one thing has remained constant: The Mass has always been the central form of Catholic worship.

The Catholic Mass is all Bible and all Jesus - - and we have the most kickin' altar call around - Holy Communion. Talk about getting up and coming down the aisle for the Lord. We actually meet Him in the Flesh when we hit the front.

Here read this it gives step by step of the Mass.

if you go to a catholic church first:

put your two finger in the holy water to make sign of cross

look for a set to hear the message of god

on that time you can hear a soft melody from the quire

eat the bread as symbol of acceptance of your faith to god

song the song that teach us from the bible

    accept your sin

ask a forgiveness of you sin

and leave the church with peace

The typical Byzantine Catholic Church is in full communion with the Pope and the Latin Church, so the answer is quite probably yes.

This time of year is a special time of year for the Catholic Church. They're busy defending their organization from accusations they covered up pedophiles to spare their church embarrassment.
