Are judges supposed to avoid media coverage of cases they're deciding?
I've created a blog about a class action case I filed, and some of my blog posts have been entered into evidence, but others have not. I'm wondering how likely the judge is to view the rest of the posts. IANAL.
(I'd like to know the legal answer. Of course, any such rule is almost unenforceable. The rule against jurors reading such coverage is rarely enforced.)
Ok, thanks. Source?

No, because it's assumed that a judge can make an impartial decision based on evidence presented in the case and without outside influences. They are required to make impartial judgements without imparting their personal opinion.
