Curry Leaves, are they used all over India, or just in certain regions?

Have a wonderful curry leaf tree in my back garden, was wondering, had curry trees for years and still don't know if they are used all over India, I first discovered them in Fiji. Any help or traditional family recipes (mums simple ones, no websites if can be helped). I love them, use them in fish curry, vegie curry, all sorts. Would love a few traditional hints.

Pretty much, not as much in Northern India, but all over is correct, some will add them in the beginning, and there are recipes were they finish a dish with curry leaves, chili's (dried or fresh) and seed spices toasted in oil and added at the end, they are used in any Indian influences cuisine from the Thai's, Sri Lankans, Malay/Indonesian and even in Singapore, I worked there as a Chef, I buy then fresh here in Toronto Canada and dry them in my dehydrator, the flavour intensifies, but feel free to use them in any dish.

When I worked in Jamaica,we had a clove tree, allspice, sorel, mango, ugli fruit, lemon and nutmeg/mace trees to, so being able to go to your garden and pick it fresh must be great.

Pretty much all over India, add them to any stir fry recipes, have also used them in most Vietnamese, Burmese and Thai curries, also egg dishes they add a little oomph., to most vegetable dishes, and if you like Dahl always add them with dessicated coconut.

I'm not indian so I'm not sure about its use in India but it is much used in my country (Mauritius). It is used in all curry dishes. It also works well with garlic, ginger, tomatoes, thyme, and dried chilies.
