Is the Adobe Master Suite worth buying? Or just the standard version with photoshop and flash will do?

  • That's a tough question to answer without knowing what you are looking to do with the suite.

If you plan on doing web design work using the Adobe products, then I would recommend the "Web Premium" suite. This is the suite I purchased for my company. Since I normally us Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and Fireworks when creating a new website.

If you are just doing print design work then you could always get the "Design Premium" suite. This will contain your main design applications, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as Flash. For page layout, you will have InDesign to work with.

I've found the suite's to be worth the cost if you plan on using more than just one of the Adobe products with in that suite. The Adobe Bridge application is also very nice for viewing your Adobe files (psd, ai, etc), although it's a bit buggy when working with large amounts of image files at a time.

    Hope that answers your question.
