Calculus Area Geometry question?
Let A denote the area between the graph of f(x) = 1/x and the interval (1,2), and let B denote the area between the same graph and the interval (1/2, 1). Explain geometrically why A = B.
Please help me...I know how to do this numerically, just don't know what is meant by explain geometrically?

Using trapezium's apporximation.
A = ½b(h₁ + h₂)
Area A = ½ (1)(1+½) =¾ square units
Area B = ½(½)(1+2) = ¾ square units
