I just downloaded an AVI film, but when played it runs at fast-forward with no sound. Whats wrong?

    which player U r using for that film. I take it is window media player.

    then try this

    wm player menu tools/ options

    then select performance

    decrease 'video acceleration' a little. I think it will help u.
