Have you ever gotten this response?

So, I answered a tattoo question, it was a needlessly judgmental and prejudicial question about tattoos. I got an email from the questioner that was name calling and rude. But (he?) also said that I must not have read his question completely. So, giving him the benefit of the doubt, and knowing that sometimes I might not come across like I should (I have off days where I get a bit feisty with an answer, and I shouldn't), so I went back to the question because the poster doesn't allow email (even though he felt fine about emailing me, I couldn't reply to him..) anyway, I got a Yahoo page saying:

"You cannot view this question at this time."

So, my question is have you ever gotten this? And can you block someone from viewing your questions?

It's probably for the better anyway, but I'd like to know how this works.

Thank you for your time and answers. I haven't had the best of days, and I'm just curious.

Update:

Hey, thanks all, I found that if you click on the persons avatar there's a 'block user' right under their picture. So, I blocked his, so I at least won't get any more email from him!

    The person blocked you ahah.

I didn't know that either until a few months ago. When you block someone, it means that they cannot view ANY of your questions, and they cannot see anything on your profile (so it makes your profile look like it was set to private)

But if the email was rude, report the user.

I'm not sure if it will get the user suspended for a while, or what it will do. I've gotten quite a few "insulting" emails, but they were written by like. 12 year olds, so the maturity level was dismal. Instead of reporting them, I replied with an email that was actually intelligently formed (as opposed to something such as "omg u like made fun of so and so like GO 2 HELL~*~")

Source(s): Happens to me with people that have me blocked (but I have them blocked too, so it's no surprise.)

Aha! That has happened to me before - I get a message saying I cannot view the question - only I didn't know what it was about. I have never received an email from the person who asked the question, but when I would try to go back I got the error message. I guess I know now why that happened. And it's not that I was being rude or insulting, it's that the asker just didn't like the answer he/she was given. You gotta just chalk it up to rude little kids having nothing better to do than to ask questions they know will incite people. It makes me mad, but hey, at least I got 2 points off that kid!

I don't think you can block it, but I'm not sure. Maybe it was deleted? That's ridiculous though, if you are going to ask a question, be prepared for people to voice their opinions! I understand, I am more snippy with my answers depending on my mood.

i've never gotten that...he must have just blocked you completely. i hate when someone thinks it is ok to email you like that but then there is no way for you to respond back.

    You read the question correctly.

The kid was a total tool.

    I just found his question.

He got what he wanted, to piss some people off.

I ignore 99% of kids like him.
