Party music from the 50's/60's?

So, it's my Mum's 50th birthday in the middle of July, my sisters and me are putting on this big party for her, and need music suggestions. She was born in '59, so grew up through the 60's, and we've got about an hours worth of music so far but need more.

Does anyone have any idea what a woman growing up in the UK in the 60's would have listened to?? Thanks so much for your help, really appreciate it!!
