Ive tried dozens of chocolate chip cookie recipes in search for the perfect one. This is the one that I found to be heaven on your taste buds. it has a secret ingredient to make them extra moist and chewy... instant pudding! I hope you like this as much as I do!

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

    1 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add pudding mix, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Nestle Toll House cookie recipe. It's on the back of the chocolate chip bag. I like to substitute shortening for the butter. They seem to rise better and not spread out so much.

NESTLE"S!!!!! AND USE REAL BUTTER! The secret is to check on them at half bake time. As soon as they start to turn brown, pull them out. Secret to reallllllly good cookies is to place them on a brown paper bag like we use to get from the grocery stores. It crisp-ens the bottom and keeps the cookie moist!
