What's the AirNZ flight that leaves Internationally from Christchurch and connects from Auckland to LAX etc?
Heard it leaves about 2030 and I can stay in transit in Auckland

Yes, there is a flight from Christchurch to Los Angeles. The good news is that the flight is daily so you can fly there virtually on any day. The flight leaves at 6:50 pm from Christchurch (land in Auckland at 8:10 pm) and 9:30 pm from Auckland (Not 8:30, but close enough). You'll arrive at 2:30 pm in Los Angeles, so enough to check in to the hotel and visit the city. The flight from Christchurch to Auckland is 'NZ0548' and to Los Angeles it is 'NZ0002.' Its long, about 15 hours, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Its going to cost you between 1,200-1,500 dollars though. I hope that I helped. Good luck!
