those are simple to remove once you remove the trim remove the screws that hold it in an then remove the ground wire from the back of it and the two wiring connectors one will be black and one will be grey, and if you bought the adapter kit you can easily install the new stereo back in it,just make sure you mount it in the holder real good and re-use the ground strap that was on the back of the old radio,it assures a good solid ground wire for the radio, the rest should be a plug and play deal if you bought the wiring adapter with the new radio, good luck on it.

You should be able to just unclip the plastic piece that surrounds the stereo and the heater controls. After that you just have to remove two phillips screws and the radio will pull out. There is a 10mm nut on the back of the stereo that has to be removed for the ground.

it quite is not suppposed to plug into the radio, in simple terms the vehicles harness. you need to connect the wires your self. Edit: Did you purchase a used radio? So the harness that got here with the radio does not plug in?
