Should I file for chapter 11?

Mortgage is 2 months behind and have less than ten thousand in debt medical,credit cards etc. I have had my job for 20 years.My credit is already bad .Can this still work for me? What should I do?

    get with a credit card counsler. they really work and you will keep your credit.(which is very important) they will reduce your payments to a very low amount and will take away a huge chunk of fianances charges away as well. belive me. this works look for a credit counsler online. they are free.

    Talk it over with a bankruptcy attorney. The only two options are chapter 13 or chapter 7 for an individual.

    No! Ten thousand in debt is not enough to file for bankruptcy.

    $100,000 in debt is a different story but you are not bad off enough yet to do that.
