Do you realise the decade is almost over?
If we identify this decade as being from 2000 to 2009, almost 95% of the decade is up. Yup. What people in the year 2050 will say about this period, it has probably already happened. The soundtrack of this decade has long since been released. The fashions have been worn, and the wars have been fought. And if you think something is going to change the character of this zeitgeist, there is only seven months left for anything significant to occur

mmmm however this swine flu 'epidemic' if thats what it turns out to be... and the next 7 months of the global financial crisis, might just get these last few months into the history books... in the last 10 yrs, what have we achieved as a nation?? all i can think of is saying sorry to the stolen generation.. thats it in ten yrs???
ps that means i am getting old!!
