why would you buy bifocals if you did not need them? you do realize that the line denotes a change in the strength of the lens. They do make no line bifocals now, but i don't think that you can have a line removed from regular bifocals, the lens would need to be totally replaced. I guess i am a bit confused...but without changing the lenses the line can not be removed.

You can't get the line removed. You should have ordered progressive bifocals if you didn't want a line.

Return to whoever you got them from and ask if you can exchange for progressives. Most places will redo them for only the extra cost that you would have paid had you ordered progressives from the start -- unless they recommended progressives and you insisted on lined bifocal.

no,the line can not be removed.however,if it bothers you,you may be able to change to a no-line bifocal or a "progressive" lens.if you try the bifocals for a couple of weeks and can't get used to them,go to your optician and ask them to readjust your frame to maybe move the line a little lower so it won't be in the way so much.if this doesn't work, ask about the progressive lenses!

I could opt for Mary Kay up to you'll be able to. I have Mary Kay and it really works very good, use their epidermis cleaning soap bar on account that it makes your epidermis very transparent, then use their lip gloss and lipstick, for eyes they have got particularly excellent eyeshadow, however opt for Lash Blast through Cover Girl, then Mary Kay has particularly high-quality concealer, groundwork and blush. Mary Kay even has soaps, perfumes, creams and lotions!! I desire this is helping!!

    Well, yes and no......

You will have to have new lenses made in either single vision,

    or progressive multi-focal (no-line) lenses.

You can't remove the line from your lenses.

Talk to your practitioner about your options. :)
