Did Shalit convert to Islam?

We have no way of knowing whether he did or not, since there has been no communication from him from the time he was kidnapped by Hamas.

If he did convert to Islam it was done under duress, since he is a prisoner, not a free man.

I would not be surprised if Corporal Gilad Shalit, in the hope of being released after over two years or of being better treated by his savage jailers, converted to Islam. Of course that wouldn't necessarily save him now, would it?

Well he did try acording to informed sources but he didn't meet the required standard in Islam any more than he did as a teen-soldier.

How would we know? We don't even know whether he is alive, let alone whether he has been forced to accept Islam. If he had converted voluntarily, I'm sure we would know about it, as the Palestinians would urge him to talk about it on TV.
