Question about Seroquel?

I'll be asking my doctor about this as soon as he is in again tomorrow but in the meantime - I started low dose seroquel last night (just 25mg) to see if it would help me to sleep, and I'm not liking it at all.

I spent the first few hours feeling very agitated and was pretty well bouncing off the walls, then I crashed out completely for an hour or so. Today I am lethargic, dizzy, falling over (which takes a fair effort given that I am in a wheelchair!). Has anyone experienced anything like this, especially on such a low dose?

For the record, we've already tried all the more conventional drugs to help me sleep and nothing works. I'm in very severe pain, and haven't been getting more than an hour or two of very broken sleep, so we're getting a bit desperate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Hey, it's your fellow C**S sufferer. Seroquel sucks. It does the same to me, just like Tylenol PM. Aggitated is not even the word to describe it. I used to take trazadone and it helped for a while. Now, believe it or not. Lyrcia is what I use for sleep. 75mg. It does not work for my condition, but it sure helps me sleep. Maybe it's because I'm on Xanax too for anxiety also. Who wouldn't have anxiety that has had 14 years of pain and major surgeries?. Anyway, ask your Dr. about that. If I ever have to take Flexiril for any type of muscular problem(which is rare). I can sleeo 15 hours. My tolerance for pain med. is f***ed up. Wonder why. Hope this helps

Hey, I have what you guys have, too. I don't have an answer, but I just thought I'd say 'hello!' and 'I hope you're feeling better.' An hour of sleep each night is not good, I don't know what would help, but I hope someone gives you the answer you're looking for, that will help you.
