I know what you mean. My 8 month old drinks 6oz milk at 5:30am. He eats around 9:30 2TBSP of cereal with 1TBSP of fruit. He drinks milk at 11:30 or 12:00. Eats 2TBSP of Veggies with 2TBSP of fruit around 2:30 or 3:00pm. He has another 6oz bottle at 4:00pm. 2TBSP of protein with 2TBSP of veggies at 6:30 and his last 6oz bottle at 8:00pm. In between I give him at least 2oz of water or juice or both. Snacks are optional and I only give them so he can learn to grasp food.

my son is 8 months old and the only thing i portion is his formula. i just feed him solids until he doesnt want anymore. for example.. i put 15 string green beans on his tray and if he only finishes 8 of them, i put the rest in a container and back in the fridge
