P = 11 + 44lnx represents the percentage of inbound e-mail in the U.S. that is spam, where x is the # of yrs?

Carry all calculations ot 6 decimals. Use this model to approximate the percentage of spam in the yr. 2006 to nearest tenth of a %. Use this model to determine how many yrs. it will take for the % of spam to reach 85% provided law enforcement regarding spammers doesn't change.

x is the number of years SINCE WHEN?

I think the reason no one has answered is that some information is missing. If the starting year is, say, 2000, then 2006 would be 6 years later, setting x=6.

    then 11 + 44lnx=

    89.837416646034420035749003768751

    if 11 + 44lnx = 85 then lnx = 74/44 = 1.6818181818181818181818181818182

    now exponentiate both sides--look at

    e^(lnx) = x = e^(1.6818181818181818181818181818182)

    = 5.3753203999714001226691988423609

Change this as appropriate using the correct base year.
