Is the alltel prepaid plan any good?

Don't get the one where U have to buy a phone card just about everyweek, that's a waste of money.

Get the prepaid phone plan where you pay about 50 dollars a month. And you can get free night and weekend minutes.

I think the alltel prepaid phone isn't much different than the Tracfone you now have. Kind of same plan....buy minutes as you need with the only difference being the texting cost. Do you text a lot? Why? Just call your friends from you home land line phone. Ask your parents if they will buy you more minutes on your Tracfone that way you can still talk / text on your current phone. If that doesn't work...beg, plead, even stoop really low and cry to your parents for a new phone. That works for me but I am really spoiled and my parents try to be my "best friend" instead of being "parents". Don't worry about what your friends have for a phone because as long as you have a phone that works....who cares! Just my 2 cents worth
