How good do you have to be to play international men's club volleyball for a living?

(men's vb)

BYU, Pepperdine

Both of these schools have players who played on national teams. One of Penn State's players left to go play international club ball.

There are lots of other good players at the D1 level, so I am wondering how many of them could go play for a living after college? How good must you be?

Thanks in advance.

well look at the players who are doing it... i guess you have to be as good as them. steve klosterman from UCLA is playing internationally now for a living... he's really good but not the best i've seen.

but there are ton's of international teams. a lot of them could probably go play but they choose other careers instead.

Very! You need to have perfect techniques when you go about playing volleyball. Digging, setting up the ball, serving etc. are all important and there must be total perfection and accuracy when doing so. Check out these guys (they played at the olympics) thats how good you need to be --> http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=rlwgW6S599M
