N = sqrt x+4 models # of cases an infection in millions of a diesase x yrs from now?

The answer is 4,470,000 please show work for this. Also, in approx how many years will there be 6 million cases? 32 show work for this

    I think that you missed part of the question which asked how many cases there would be in 16 years.

    N = sqrt(x + 4)

    x = 16 ----> N = sqrt(20) = 4.472 million

    N = 6 ----> 6 = sqrt(x + 4) ----> 36 = x + 4 ----> x = 32 years.
