I need a de-stressing break. Have any hilarious wedding planning nightmares?
Just yesterday I decided that our wedding colors are out the window, haha. We're having a private ceremony and big new year's eve reception, so my sister is making my gown and I chose a deep eggplant purple (so I can wear it again.) Since our colors were slate blue, sage green, and creme, there goes that!! haha. So I chose white flowers, and the flowers for inside the house will be white, purple, and blue.
Oh, and a loving guest sent a HUGE box of new year's things for when we count down to midnight, and they're every color imaginable. So we're going to have a fun time with every shade out there! :)
Also, my caterer backed out a few days ago, but the replacement food I'm getting looked MUCH more delicious anyway. :) I think it worked out for the best.

Long story short,my best friend's dress shop ordered all of our dresses in the wrong size (like mine was supposed to be a 6, a 12 showed up). The charged us for alterations, and then only altered one side of each dress, so they were all lopsided!
I had another friend who, after the wedding, they wont to the hotel at which theyd booiked for their wedding night...only to find their credit card had been charged but they didnt reserve them a room! The groom's family gave them their suite and drove 4 hours back to their hometown. Their reception was on a boat, but everything had to be delayed because the water was so choppy they couldnt sail. What a mess.
