Wedding trivia please?

For our reception, we're having a large trivia game and I'm looking for wedding-themed trivia. I've done a google search and have a lot of the basics, so I'll give the 10 points to someone who gives me facts I don't have yet! Here are the ones I have:

http://www.romancestuck.com/wedding/wedding-trivia...

http://www.superweddings.com/article-customsandtra...

http://wedding.theknot.com/wedding-planning/weddin...

Thanks!

With luck, these websites and trivia examples will not be entirely duplicative of the trivia that you have already discovered.

*The "National Association of Wedding Ministers" has published interesting Wedding Trivia found at http://www.aweddingministers.com/wedding/trivia.ht...

    For example:

THE BRIDE STANDS TO THE GROOMS LEFT so he may more easily protect her because it frees his right hand or sword hand against sudden attack.

[Remember to Breath, if your betrothed is left handed, make sure that he wears swords on both sides:]

    * At http://www.weddingfavorstogo.com/wedding-trivia.ht... there is wedding trivia, like the following example:

The longest train for a Wedding dress was found in Germany. It measured 515 feet.

    * At http://www.bwedd.com/Couples/wtr.asp there is a wedding trivia quiz with questions the answers to which are of interest.

    * At http://www.hudsonvalleyweddings.com/guide/trivia.h... there is wedding trivia and "Funny Facts."

    * At http://www.diva-girl-parties-and-stuff.com/wedding... there is a Wedding Trivia quiz that you may enjoy.

Most Important: CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK!!

    1. Hey, brides, tuck a sugar cube into your glove — according to Greek culture, the sugar will sweeten your union.

    2. The English believe a spider found in a wedding dress means good luck. Yikes!

    3. In English tradition, Wednesday is considered the “best day” to marry, although Monday is for wealth and Tuesday is for health.

    4. The groom carries the bride across the threshold to bravely protect her from evil spirits lurking below.

    5. Saturday is the unluckiest wedding day, according to English folklore. Funny — it’s the most popular day of the week to marry!
