Tips for tryouts tomorrow??
We have already had open gym and camp, but i am still really nervous. They know my name already, without having to ask...is that a good thing? I was also asked to come to the upperclassmen camp, but i'm still nervous. Any tips or suggestions?

Just keep working hard. It sounds like you are pretty good. Make sure you are always hustling and working hard. Talk A LOT!!! Encourage your teammates by telling them when they do a good job. If you don't understand something...ASK! I always hate when people pretend to understand a drill and then mess it up. Really listen to the coaches when they tell you to do something and try to apply their tips. Good luck and have fun! It sounds like you are on your way to a playing...and maybe even varsity!

If the coaches already know your name, i am positive they know who you are and they want you on their team. But extra tips, be the first one back from water break, CHEER, CHEER, CHEER! Be positive and upbeat. If they ask you to play 3's or queens, go with the upper classmen. Try your hardest on EVERYTHING, call mine. Thats all the tips i think you will need. i just had tryouts & they knew my name & they asked me to go with the upperclassman just like you, & now i made the sophmore team and im just a freshman! so it definitely sounds like youre doing a good job already, just call the ball realllly loud, go for everything, and have fun & im sure youll make the team!
