So I got a perm a while back...

And it was beautiful! I got it back in December, though, and it has grown out so a half of it is straight, and then it becomes curly. I don't want to cut my hair short, but what is a way I could deal with that? And I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, and how could I get that cut in a cute way? Thanks!!

Have you tried hot rollers? Contrary to popular belief, perms will not necessarily give you curly hair, just make your hair hold curls better. That's why you're supposed to "set" it with traditional rollers soon after, or hot rollers 2-3 days later. Curling irons will work too if you don't have the other kind and don't want to run out and buy them. As for the cut, I recommend browsing the hair magazines & books that all salons have while you wait your turn.
