you cant dye over it but you can but a hair lightener that you use BEFORE you redye it another company loreal do a colour lightener but i would wait a week at least so as not to ruin your hair.

nothing, except a red or purple rinse. I recommend a professional bleach, let your hair rest for a bit, then a professional all-over colour. If you put cheap home dye on a bleach you might get horrible results, you need to let your hair rest for at least 24 hours after bleaching. You could buy a highlighting kit but on black you're likely to end up with ginger highlights.

Go for a chocolate brown or golden brown but makesure that on the box it can be put onto darker hair:) i too made the same mistake and am going to buy a dye now lmao x

color will not remove color. you will need to find a hairdresser who will sit with you and explain your options. you can go with soft hilites but this is tricky as they will need to be bleached and lifted past the orange stage. you may be able to try a de-colorizer. some are bleach based some are not but after the remover your hair will have to be toned to achieve an even color and it will most likely still be a darker shade as black is very difficult to remove. reguardless this is not something to attempt at home. the risk of severe damage is to great. remember any this you try at home will most likely result in those unwanted orange/red shades

Use chestnut brown hair dye to get a medium hair which was obviously your natural hair color.

You need to bleach it first to go lighter. Otherwise you can get burgundy highlights. or wait for the black to wear off.

you must remove color to change color if ur hair is black. dyes do not remove color u need either a hilift bleach or a decolorizer under a dryer, then you can re-color

your best bet is too suck it up for a week so u dont fry your hair then get a lighter shade of brown. I would highly recomend you go to a salon to do this!

Either wait for it to fade out or go to a professional.
