I'm working on Celebrity cruise and i can promess you than crew aea is not the best place to be:) but it's also depend of the status of your position i'm an officer so i have a single cabin with a cleaner on a normal deck but i see some ppl living sometimes 4 in the cabin in a lower deck so before you getting the job ask what is your status (officer, staff, crew)

My sister worked on Royal Carribean Cruisliners for 2 years as a beauty therapist and her bedroom was tiny! Hardly any space.
BUT
She loved it, and was hardly ever in her cabin, always working, meeting friends for drinks, going ashore visiting several countries etc.
Its the best thing shes ever done.

on the large ships as in Princess the staffs cabins are the same as the inside cabins the passengers enjoy, they also have their own swimming pool and canteen
