Darwin is a nice place and there is a bit of a boom up there at the moment. A lot of the people are friendly too. BUT, the weather is realllllly hot and humid. I live in a hot and dry part of Australia and Darwin wins hands down for 'Unfriendly' heat. AND apparently, there are Crocodiles in the harbour too. But apart from that, it is nice.
