What is your favourite movie from 2003?

I am curious to see what peoples fav movies are from specific periods. IF unsure of the year of a movie, you can have a look at IMDB.com, which is a movie database with heaps of great films.

Thank-you for your interest.

Some of the better movies of 2003 (I can't ever just pick one, so I thought I'd pick all of my favorites, making certain to put in at least one film from just about every genre, including family, documentary and foreign):

    *21 Grams

*The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

    *Lost in Translation

    *Mystic River

*Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl

    *Something's Gotta Give

*Thirteen (I'm so glad I have two boys and no girls!!)

    *Finding Nemo

    *American Splendor

*Big Fish (!!!- one of my fave Burton films ever!!!)

    *A Mighty Wind

*Capturing the Friedman's (ultra-disturbing documentary; aired on HBO, but is easily available on dvd and was shown in theaters when first released-- so it counts)

*Identity (w/ John Cusack; highly underrated horror/thriller)

    *Bad Santa (hee hee)

*Runaway Jury (the best John Grisham novel to be adapted into a film since A Time To Kill, in my opinion)

*How To Lose a Guy in Ten Days (purely for the comedy; the romance aspect was super cheesy; but the "love fern"?? Come on! You know that was hysterical!!)

*The Dreamers (French film w/ under-rated American actor Michael Pitt--- very sick, twisted, and sexy all at the same time)

*Second-Hand Lions!!! (one of few movies that is awesome in every way, yet totally suitable for young children)

Source(s): my movie-obsessed brain, but the years were all double-checked at imdb.com

    Both -

*The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

*Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl

Lord of the Rings return of the king was pretty good. Pirates of the Caribbean was good. Nemo was good for the kids. Love Actually was a good romance.

I'm always a sucker for a good heist movie. The Italian Job.

I also thought Daredevil was decent
