I have no life?

Or why do I enjoy answering optical questions on my time off from being an optician??

I'm on vacation this whole week and I've spent most of it so far looking through the optical section here to see if I can answer people's questions.

Come to think about it, I get excited about new optical frames and new lens technology when I'm at work.

I suppose I'm extremely lucky that I find my little existence so fascinating.

Nevermind--guess I answered my own question, eh? =D

As long as you can find happiness in what you do , then it is all worthwhile.

Hey...we are like miracle workers...we get people to see who could not see....we get people to read, who could not read...what more could you ask for ?

OK, living on a yacht off the Bahamas would be better.

Someday I'll retire and just think about all the new lens technologies I'm missing while sitting in a canoe in the pool behind the neighbours house.

Enjoy your vacation ....they don't come often !

Keep it up, between all of us we may actually be doing some good, educating these poor misguided people who think they will go blind without glasses or ask if their eyes will get worse if they don't wear their glasses for the 50th time, etc. . :)
